  • Today I spent my moments on the roof as I layed and absorbed all the vitamin D I could.

I crept to the ledge where I gazed upon an intersection; where Jones meets Geary. Elderly patiently waiting as cars pass by. They walked across the street, where they began to rekindle their journey or continue to their destination.

I turned around; raised the volume of my iPod, and twirled freely. Not in any particular direction, but that of my own. I pondered the reasoning behind pondering the past. Trying to steal every last bit of sun.

Once again; to the edge; I glared at pedestrians, but this time I payed my attention to O’Farrell and Jones. Dancing crack heads; they hustled in the 5 o’ clock shadows.

I looked up back at the sun soaked roofs just to take it all in.

It was hard for me to go. I walked through the door, glanced back, and secretly mumbled to the day. Closed the door and proceeded down the stairs..
